Our drill is going to be a simulated Ammonia leak at the ice rink. We will have 7 “victims” who have been contaminated and will need treatment and transport. We will be conducting gross decon operations on 1
st street next to the rink. After gross decon we will have a transportation group that will be your bus/driver with 2-3 Donnelly firefighters who will coordinate transportation from the scene to the hospital and off-loading the patients. All your driver has to do is drive the bus. After that the bus will be deemed “contaminated” and your role will be complete. From there the patients will be deconed at the hospital accordingly and shipped off. After the drill we will have after action review at the hospital that you and your driver are welcome to attend.
